Not that there was anything bad going on, it has just been one of those weeks when even the simplest tasks, seems to take a lot of effort.
Saturday’s key task was to share the outline details of the Beaver 30th and Cub 100th Birthdays and some refreshed details about the Children’s University by email – how hard can that be in the 21st Century? (DON’T ASK!)
The weather was miserable and so I didn’t mind being stuck indoors. I am going to share the contents of those emails via my blog in chunks over the next few nights in case you haven’t seem them.
On Sunday I wrote an article on Linked In about our Media Development Manager Vacancy, this is a role that we need to look outside of Scouting to bring in and share the skills of this really specialist art. The aim is that the person would share their knowledge with a small team internally and then filter that down to Districts and Groups.
After that I got a great 50km ride in on my Cyclocross Bike (Frame like a hybrid bike, technical bits from a road bike) on a sunny, mild November morning, I was oblivious to the fact I had picked up a slow puncture!
Monday morning, running a bit late for work, I get my bike out of the shed…. Sometimes even the simplest tasks……..
Have a good week
