Recognising dedication and service

Norfolk Scouts celebrate achievements

Members of Norfolk Scouts who have been recognised by the Chief Scout in the 2017 St. George’s Day awards, came together on Sunday 9 April at the Assembly Hall in Swaffham to receive their medals and celebrate.

The event happened slightly before St. George’s Day so that the recipients can wear their awards at their local or the National Celebration at Windsor Castle.

The awards were presented by Richard Butler, Chairman of the National Awards Committee and Matthew Burrell, County Commissioner.

Also recognised were Young People who have achieved their Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award and who have become Queen’s Scouts this year.

Details of the award holders are in this Award Booklet.
