The Scouts have an ambition to grow and provide skills for life to more and more young people and adults.
A key ingredient to our growth is the provision of a fantastic programme, past experience shows us where there is good programme, there are more young people (and adults too!)
An exciting way we can provide programme is via our Top Awards which provide a stretch to our young people between the age of 14 and 25.
Norfolk Scouts has an opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic volunteer to take the role of Assistant County Commissioner – Top Awards and Network
As ACC Top Awards and Network you will be responsible for developing and leading the team of District Network Commissioners and liaising with DESC’s in order to support Districts and section leaders to develop and run exciting, fun and challenging programmes for the Network section (18 – 25 year olds) plus monitor the delivery of the Platinum, Diamond, Queens Scout Award, Scouts of the World Award and Explorer Belt for all young people eligible.
You will be a key member of the County Team who are responsible for the strategic operation of our local organisation.
