Scout Scarf Day

Tuesday 1 August is Scout Scarf Day why not take part?

The idea of “Scout Scarf Day” on 1 August is that Scouts try to wear their scout scarfs in public to make the “Spirit of Scouting” visible: Once a Scout – Always a Scout!

The date of the event commemorates the very first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island in 1907.

A number of members of Norfolk Scouts have said that they are going to take part.

Why not wear your necker to work, on the bus, or out for a walk?

Help promote Scouting and maybe spark a conversation with a new leader?

We’d love to see pictures of people in scarfs out-and-about. Please tweet them to @Norfolkscouts or if you are a member add them to the Norfolk Scouts’ Sharing Centre on Facebook.
