Want to help develop other Adults?

Do you have an interest in delivering training and help others? Come and join the adult training team.

Applications are invited from adult members of Norfolk scouts who have completed Presenting module (29) or would be willing to undertake this module, to become a trainer with the adult training team delivering the training scheme for the Scout Association.

This predominately involves the delivery and presentation of the modules required for section leaders and section supporters.

Although we are not looking for teachers we are looking for people with some flair and enthusiasm who can present sessions in a way that holds the interest of their peers.  You will need to be able to communicate calmly and clearly.  In addition, you will be required to take some ownership of administering the session, i.e. setting up and clearing the room, organising materials and equipment and setting up the equipment ready for the start of the session.

Those interested should apply by email with responses to the following questions:

Describe any relevant skills that you have that you can offer?

Any relevant professional or voluntary experience you can bring?

Please also include your name and any modules from the adult training scheme that you might be interested in delivering.

We will be running a presenting course (module 29) on Saturday 13 January or Sunday 14 January 2018, venue to be confirmed.

Please send your email to Sandra Gostling, County Training Manager at , if you wish an informal chat before sending your email please contact Sandra on 07766903949
