North West Norfolk Archery Day

On a very hot Sunday morning, young and the not so young archers gathered for a District competition held at the 19th King’s Lynn at North Runcton.
A superb day of competition which was the culmination of six weeks of coaching and practice by the Scouts. Well done to all and thank you to the amazing District Archery Leaders who have provided great opportunity and coaching of skills.

The winning team, all teams drawn from the hat on the morning, were ‘The Flying Feathers’ Henry O’Shea (12th King’s Lynn), Archie Grangehall (3rd Marshland) and Daniel Meaden (3rd Marshland)

The highest scoring Scout was William Proctor following a very tense and close shoot off with Henry O’Shea, both 12th King’s Lynn.

Mention as well to Team Grumpy Old Men of Merv Beckett, Mik Ranger and Wayne Hornigold Wayne top scoring with 72/80.
