County Youth Commissioners

We’re looking for two Commissioners to support our Youth Shaped goals.

We have committed that by 2023 at least 50% of Young People will play an active part in shaping what their Scouting looks like.

This includes:

• Picking what programmes they take part in
• Assisting with choosing what other organisations we work with
• Helping Trustees make decisions about spending and investments
• Showing volunteers how we can make an impact in their communities

We’ve got some great District Youth Commissioners and young Trustees who recently committed to closer working to continue or direction in this area.

Our County Youth Commissioners will co-ordinate the work done across our County by promoting our Youth Shaped aims.

A Youth Commissioner is aged between 18 and 25 years of age at Appointment and would become a Trustee.
