European Jamboree 2020

The European Jamboree will offer attendees 11 days of activities, combining the chance to develop new skills, make new friends from across Europe and experience Poland’s beautiful countryside.

Norfolk will be sending 5 patrols of 9 young people to the Jamboree. Applications for young people closed in December.

Members of the adult team along with David Cubitt (DCC Operations) and Phil Wright (ACC Events) met on 10 March to finalise the young person review process. All applicants have been invited to attend the day which will involve a variety of different tasks themed around the challenges of the Jamboree and is being held in King’s Lynn on 24 March. Many thanks to the North West Norfolk District and local groups for their support.

We hope to be in a position to confirm names by the end of the month, which will give the group over a year to run training camps, bond and fundraise.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Many thanks,
