I visited the administrators day held at Eaton Vale Scout and Guide Activity Centre following the last Blog and it was good to see so many group and district administrators there, along with a number of members undertaking Module 37 for their Appointment Advisory roles. As well as Chairpersons, Secretaries and Treasurers a number of other Exec members attended which was good to see along with the administrators for the newly formed scout group at Watton, South West Norfolk who are keen to ensure that when the group opens they are fully prepared.

Last week saw the County Vice-presidents gather for their annual get together this was an oppurtunity for myself and the County President Richard Jewson to remind them that they are the ambassadors for Norfolk Scouts to a vast variety of outside organisations and that the volunteers rely on them to spread the good word about scouting.

Disrtict Conferences Plans are well underway for the three new DC's to bring together their teams for a busy weekend at Great Yarmouth at the end of January. Eastern Norfolk, Northern Norwich and Southern Norfolk will during this weekend attemt to work on a number of issues including their future plans for the Districts.

A global e-mail to all members registered on Membership Services will have gone out announcing the resignations of the ACC Beavers and County Scout Network Commissioner and that the process to find their successors has been started. Nomination Forms and Role descriptions are available from the County Office and to help with work already done in these sections by Chris and Pete I am anxious to fill the roles and continue the work that has already seen both sections grow this year.
