Beaver Christmas Extravaganza!
Northern Norwich Scout District held its annual Christmas Extravaganza and party on 3rd and 4th December 2011 to allow almost 200 Beaver Scouts the opportunity to make Christmas crafts, and enjoy traditional scouting fun and entertainment. As Beaver Scouting is thriving within the District the event had to be split over two days to ensure that every Beaver Scout had the opportunity to take part.
Tim Rowe Assistant District Commissioner for Northern Norwich said
"I am delighted that Beaver Scouts from all 16 Beaver Colonies and from all 14 groups within the District took part, demonstrating the continuing success that Beaver Scouting is having in its 25th celebratory year. I would like to thank them all for their support as the weekend could not have happened without the army of people who gave up their time and talents to ensure that all the Beavers went home with big smiles on their faces. Scouting can only be a success due to the enthusiastic and energetic way that all leaders and helpers take such an active part meaning that we can deliver so much for the benefit of Beaver Scouting across the district."
