Muilbarton Beavers & Cubs raise funds for ‘Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’
1st Mulbarton Beavers and Cubs held a Beetle Drive for family and friends on 17th November to raise money for “Hearing Dogs for Deaf People”.
At the end of last term they had a visit from Foggy, a hearing dog, and his owner Simon to tell us about Hearing Dogs, the Beavers having been learning sign language for the term as part of the Beaver Scout 25 Challenges.
As a result of this visit they decided to do some fund raising for Foggy and his fellow hearing dogs and a fun evening was held with 60 Beavers, Cubs, parents and family members playing beetle to raise £130 for the Hearing Dogs Charity.
