Network Awards 2011

The Norfolk Network Awards were held at the ABC in Norwich on the 17th December – a red and black theme for the evening! The evening started with a drinks reception followed by a candlelit fish and chip supper!! Jane Warden presented the awards, which had been nominated by the Networkers themselves –

Best Newcomers, (Vicky Wade-Matthews, Sabine Nash, Charlotte Dixon),

Best Old Timers (Amy Spanswick)

Best Meeting Arranger (Peter Thurston, Charlie Cutting and Martin Page)

Funniest moments ( Martin, Page, Sarah Owen, Peter Thurston, Nicole Braddon, Georgina Delph) and

the Outstanding Awards for Achievement. – To

Carl Meadows (work with the 46th Norwich),

Chantelle Booth (for work in scouting and with explorers),

Peter Thurston (for generally being Mr Network and good work at UEA and Southern Norwich) and

Henry Lambert (outstanding achievement in all fields – access all areas!! (we'll leave Henry to explain this to anyone who wishes to know)

The evening then went into party mode ending with a sleepover!!
