We would really like to have some older Scouts, Explorer Scouts or County Network Members as 'buddies' this year I would be grateful if you could pass the word round! Paperwork will be available soon, anyone interested can contact me & I will make sure they receive it. I am happy to chat to anyonewho wants to know more about the camp.Extra News
Blue Peter Get Together Training.I am now a qualified Get Together trainer for Norfolk Scouts. This is training funded by a Blue peter Appeal & designed by MENCAP for working with young people with learning difficulties. There are 2 courses, 1 for Leaders, & 1 for helpers/volunteers wishing to promote inclusion of young people with learning difficulties in Scouting. If any Section Leaders have youngsters with learning difficulties, or just wish to have more ideas of how to include them from now on, then Get Together is for you!! If any volunteers, i.e.Parent Helpers, Troop Assistants, Explorers or Network want to be able to successfully include youngsters with learning difficulties in Scouing then Get Together is for you too!! I hope to run courses in 2006.
Autism Presentation
I now have a presentation on Autism & Asperger's Syndrome if any Group's are interested.
Disability equality evenings
I am happy to visit any Section to have a fun night exploring disability equality.
