Child Protection
It is the policy of The Scout Association to safeguard the welfare of all members by protecting them from physical, sexual and emotional harm. The young people first (yellow card) code of practice is available to assist all adults in Scouting and provides a detailed code of behaviour to observe when working with young people.

The Association also offers an opportunity for training via the Keeping Children Safe programme. This is a short distance learning modular course providing adults with child protection awareness training.
