In 2007, Scouting celebrates its Centenary, and thousands of activities by millions of Scouts will help to change the world for good. 2007 is Norfolk's year of opportunity.
With this comes the oppurtunity of a lifetime, to attend the
World Scout Jamboree at Hylands Park.

This chance of a lifetime was offered to the young people
of Norfolk and after a tough selection process, the
choice was made for Norfolk to send not one but two
contingents to the Jamboree of a lifetime.

Contingent Identities

Because we sent two contingents to the World Jamboree, we felt it was important for each contingent it establish its own identity. And so to make each one stand out from the other
contingent, troop badges were designed. Our two troops were BOEDICIA and ICENI, they both had 4 contingent leaders and 36 young people. That meant we were sending 80 members of Norfolk Scouting to the World Jamboree in 2007.

The Iceni troop held a pre-Jamboree get together and travelled to Wiltz in Luxembourg,
