24th WSJ Contingent Leaders

We are looking for 2 Contingent Leaders to lead the 2 Patrols from Norfolk to this exciting event.

We have been paired up with Suffolk to form one contingent. If you think you would like to be one of the contingent leaders, please fill out the application form that will be on the county web site. The closing date for applications is 29th June 2017, and forms will need to be returned to the County office.   We hope to appoint the two contingent leaders by end of July.

Norfolk Scouts has applied for two patrols to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in North America in 2019.  Once the two contingent leaders are in place, we will advertise the WSJ to the young people to make up the two patrols (which will be 18 young people).  The WSJ will be a 12-day event, and we have not heard anything about home hospitality yet. We have been paired up with Suffolk scouts to make a full contingent.  We are in the process of getting a support team together to provide help to the Norfolk contingent. As more details become available we will pass these out.
