The end of September saw over 200 people attending the 101 Dalmatian District Cub Camp at Eaton Vale.111 Cubs, 6 Explorers, 4 Scouts, 70 Beavers for a day visit and a hoard of leaders enjoyed the weekend doing what we love doing best; meeting others and having fun!
Activities enjoyed were canoeing, kayaking, archery, air rifles, climbing, abseiling, grass sledges and go karting.
There were also the traditional activities that included alter fire cooking, fire lighting, craft, low ropes, crate stacking and a campfire led by “Scary” and “Moose”.
As the day drew to a close it was time for campfire where a leader and a cub was invested along with 4 Bronze awards being presented.
Groups in attendance were 15th Norwich, 17th Norwich, Lingwood and Strumpshaw, 1st Blofield and Brundall, 45th Norwich, 1st Thorpe, 35th Norwich, 29th Norwich and Great and Little Plumstead.
