More information on BPA 2018, our overnight adventure for Explorer Scouts and Network.
Jet off from Baden Powell International Airport on a whistle-stop, around the World tour. Along the way you may visit far-flung countries, experience exotic cultures, try new foods, lose your luggage, get stuck at customs, compete with other teams, find your luggage, complete challenges of all sorts, win a trophy, return in time for breakfast or maybe all of these things, in an action-packed twelve-hour adventure.
If you haven’t been before, you won’t know that BPA, which stands for Baden Powell Anniversary, is an overnight activity hike held every year to celebrate the birth of our founder. It’s open to Explorer and Network teams from Norfolk, who must navigate the route to find zones and complete challenges. Points are awarded for finishing each section of the route, completing the challenges and for conduct and teamwork throughout.
BPA 2018 will be held in South West Norfolk on 17 and 18 February. Booking is open so speak to your leader now to enter a team or have a look at our website; scoutsbpa.org.uk.
It’s going to be fantastic. We’ll see you there and don’t forget your passport!
