Explorer Scout opportunity to wear the CC’s necker

Matthew offers an opportunity to Explorer Scouts to work with him for the day

Hi!

I’m looking for a small group of Explorer Scouts to come and join me and a few members of my team during February half term.

I’m hosting a ‘Wear Their Necker’ day as part of #YouShape month on Thursday 15 February at our County Office at Eaton Vale Scout and Guide Activity Centre (EVAC).

The plan of the day is fairly flexible but will include:

  • Enjoy a couple of activities at EVAC
  • Learn about the opportunities available through the Activity Permit Scheme
  • Get to talk to instructors about careers in the Outdoors
  • Help create our weekly e-newsletter ‘County Updates’
  • Find what the County does and wants to do
  • Get to ‘grill’ the County Commissioner and County Chairman in a Q&A session

We’ll make sure that there is a slap-up lunch too!

The day will run from 09:00 until 18:00, there is no cost for this activity.

If you would like to be considered for this activity, please complete this simple survey to tell me why you would like to be involved by Thursday 8 February.

Leaders, we have enough adults to cover this event so Explorers can come on there own – save you having to take a day off work.

There are limited places on this event and if it fills…. Well, I guess I better do another one! 😊

Look forward to hearing from you

Matthew
