A new challenge for Jane Warden as Norfolk’s Growth Lead.
I am delighted to announce that Jane Warden has accepted my invitation to become Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) for Growth, starting her appointment on 1 October 2018.
Jane, takes on this new challenge following an exciting and fruitful two years as DCC Programme.
During that time and in the time prior Jane has constantly delivered an excellent support to her team and Norfolk Scouts.
A key success has been the number of external relationship that Jane has established that have been mutually beneficial for Scouting and the supporting organisation, these include Norfolk County Council and the brilliant relationship that we have with Break that created the Go Go Dragon and Go Go Hares opportunities.
For Scouting to grow and for new adult volunteers to be found we are going to have to start Scouting in new environments and seek talent from new sources, I want to utilise Jane’s proven track record in this area to make those ideas a reality.
I know you will join me in wishing Jane well in her new role.
Jane’s new challenge will create a vacancy for Deputy County Commissioner (Programme) which we will advertise in October.
