‘County lines’ drug dealing is increasing in Norfolk. County lines is the name given to describe drug distribution system which funnels drugs from cities to towns and rural areas exploiting vulnerable young people.
Norfolk is one of the counties in which this is happening as can be seen in this recent article in The Guardian. It makes uncomfortable reading and we cannot assume that it will never happen in our neighborhood, or in our group.
If you want to know more about this topic and about how we can safeguard our young people please contact Trudy on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have an external speaker keen to come and speak to as many people about this as possible, to raise awareness and help prevent this from destroying any more young lives.
