Nearly 500 young people enjoy medieval weekend of activities on the Royal Estate.
Held at West Newton on the Sandringham Estate
, with the kind permission of The Queen, young people and adult volunteers from across North West Norfolk District gathered to celebrate Scouting and our Patron Saint, George.
The theme for the weekend was medieval and everyone got into the spirit enjoying falconry displays, fencing, dueling like knights and taking part in archery and tomahawk throwing.
Other activities included a climbing wall, air rifles, water activities, backwoods cooking and much more.
The event was also the first camp for the new Griffin Explorer Scout Unit, and all members were presented with their new neckerchiefs which they had designed.
A great weekend with lots of memories. Thank you to everyone who made the event a success.
