First Explorers complete Scout in the House

Well Done Jake & Jade – Southern Norfolk Explorers.

Two for the price of one!
After waiting for the first Explorer to complete the Norfolk Lockdown Challenge, two Explorers registered completing “Scout in the House” within an hour of each other.

Jake completed a range of activities including learning to weld to repair a car and camping out for 30 nights.
Jake also completed the following things to earn his badge:
Taken part in an online meeting
Found out about Scouting in France
Cooked for his family
Taken part in a Community clap

Jade learned how to split a log to build her Scoutcraft skills and researched about Scouting in Mexico.
Jade also completed the following things as part of the challenge:
Taken part in an online meeting
Taken part in a Community Clap
Did exercise for 30 minutes each day
Slept in a tent for 19 nights as part of the CampAtHome

Sue, Group Scout Leader at Great Ellingham said: “A superb effort Jake & Jade, really well done. So proud to have not one, but two Explorers complete the Challenge.
Not only that, we now have members from each section from Beavers to Leaders complete the Scout in the House Challenge.”
