George raises £200 for the NHS – What a STAR

George, a Mattishall Cub, who has been shielding as he has serious health problems, used his own pocket money to buy ingredients to make lemonade.
After learning how to do it, George made enough to have a socially distancing stall on the front drive to “sell” cups of lemonade.
George chose a really hot day over the bank holiday weekend and raised over £200 by both cash sales and online donations.

Beaver Leader Su said: “During lockdown George had learnt to make lemonade and then sell it to benefit others, a life skill for the future.”

Simon, District Commissioner for Central District said: I’t is fantastic to see what George has achieved and it is evident what self drive he has. This displays so many values of being a true Scout. Well done.”
