Our 2019/2020 Annual Report

We held our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 9 September

At our meeting we respresented our annual report that includes a summary of our annual accounts.

Our meeting was opened by a video message by  The Lady Dannatt MBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk and our President.

The role of Chair is currently vacant, the County Commissioner did not nominate a Chairman. A search has been started to fill this important role.

The County Secretary is an employed role and continues to be Karen Martin.

The County Treasurer continues to be Paul Weeks.

At the Scout Council agreed the County Commissioner’ nominated members to the Board of Trustee:

  • Dan Gentle (Vice Chair)
  • John Howling
  • John Sweeney
  • Reuben Ritchie

The following members we’re deemed elected:

  • Marylyn Evans
  • Richard Butler
  • Nicola Cubitt
  • Ray Hollands
  • Emily Fenton

Our accounts were approved and the County Treasurer, Paul Weeks announced that our County levy would remain unchanged at £11.50 for 2021. However the County would be providing £2 relief per member to reflect the impact of Covid-19 and increased membership fees from HQ. (In reality the County will be invoicing £9.50 per member in 2021) Districts have been asked to mirror the County relief with similar schemes if appropriate.
