An important message from the County Commissioner

This is an important message for all volunteers

Young people thrive in secure surroundings, at home and away. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we put young people’s safety and wellbeing first. Whether your a Leader who plans a week programme to a Trustee who makes sure that that a Scout Group has the equipment and resources it needs.

We demonstrate that we take the that responsibility very seriously by completing a number of learning packages. These are:

Safeguarding: Here is the elearn, it is completed at least every 3 years

Safety: Here is the elearn, it is completed at least every 3 years

GDPR: Here is the elearn, it is completed once.

We’re not quite where we want to be to show that Norfolk is an excellent county in maintaining our commitment to these subjects, and a few of our volunteers need to bring their learning up-to-date to support the good work done by the rest of the team.

Here is a video message from our County Commissioner, please watch and help share the message of how important this is.

If you complete any training email your certificate to your Manager (Group Scout Leader, District Commissioner), or Training Adviser, or email it to to be added to your Compass record.
