Scouting offers young people aged 4 to 25 the chance to develop skills for life through fun, friendship, and adventure.
Scouts is made up of six sections—Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network —each tailored to the needs and interests of its age group.
Each section has at least one award that is considered as the ‘top award’, the culmination of months of effort and considered an awesome achievement.
- Chief Scout’s Acorn Award
- Chief Scout’s Bronze Award
- Chief Scout’s Silver Award
- Chief Scout’s Gold Award
- Chief Scout’s Platinum Award
- Chief Scout’s Diamond Award
- Young Leader Belt Buckle
In Norfolk, we value the top awards so much for their contribution to the development of young people and good programmes that we fund the purchase of the badge and provide a certificate for local presentation.
