Welcome to the new Norfolk Scouts website!

You might notice things look a little different around here!

Our old website had been around for a while, and if we’re being honest, it had started to show its age. Information was out of date, pages were hard to find, and it wasn’t doing the job we needed it to do for our brilliant community of young people, parents, carers and volunteers.

So rather than patch it up, we decided to start fresh.

Simple to start, growing all the time

We’ve launched this site as a soft launch, which means it’s live, but we’re still building. You’ll find the essentials here already, and we’ll be adding more pages and content as we go. We’d rather give you something clean and useful now than wait for perfection.

You’ll also notice that some pages will point you straight to the UK Scouts website. That’s intentional! There’s already loads of great, up-to-date information available nationally, and we don’t want to copy it all out just for the sake of it. Where the national site has what you need, we’ll send you there.

We’re looking for a volunteer, could that be you?

To keep this site fresh and useful, we’re looking for someone to join us as our website content manager.

Don’t worry, you won’t need to know anything about coding or web design. What we’re really looking for is someone who’s enthusiastic about keeping our pages current and making sure our news stays interesting and relevant.

If you’ve got a few hours a month and a passion for Scouting in Norfolk, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch via our contact form.
