Get Involved - Volunteer
There are many different ways that you can volunteer for scouting, eg.
- Working with young people, planning & running the programme activities as a Section Assistant or Section Leader.
- Manage the leaders in Groups and Districts as either a Group Scout Leader or District Commissioner.
- Provide the administrative & asset management support that is vital to enable leaders to deliver scouting to young people as a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Fundraiser or Building Manager.
- Provide support ranging from providing specialist activity skills instruction to cooking at cub camp to being extra adult help taking beavers to visit a fire station as an Occasional Helper or Active Support Unit Member.
To find out more about the volunteering opportunities in your area go to the Norfolk County/District Locator map and call the Want to Volunteer number to have a chat about what volunteering role best suits your skills and available time.
