The 26th World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) will take place in Gdańsk, Poland, in summer 2027. This incredible international event will bring together tens of thousands of Scouts and Guides from around the world for a life-shaping experience of friendship, adventure, and cultural exchange.
The World Scout Jamboree is a global gathering of young people aged 14 to 17, along with adult volunteers, from nearly every country in the world. It’s a unique opportunity to:
The first Jamboree was held in Olympia, London, in 1920, and has since taken place roughly every four years in a different country. Most recently, in 2023, over 4,500 Scouts and Guides from the UK travelled to Korea for the 25th World Scout Jamboree.
Norfolk Scouts will be participating as part of the UK Contingent heading to Poland in 2027. We’re proud to be sending a unit of 36 young people, and we’re now inviting applications from those who would like to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Applications are open to young people born between 30 July 2009 and 30 July 2013. If you’re passionate about Scouting, eager to meet new people, and ready for an international adventure, we strongly encourage you to apply.
Application Deadline: 30 September 2025
We expect there to be more applicants than spaces available, so there will be a selection event to help choose the final unit. We’ll support every young person to be their best self during the selection process.
